Q: What makes the Chapel unique? A: The Chapel has a rich history, dating back to 1855. It is the oldest church building in continuous use in Kendall County!
Q: Is the Chapel available for weddings? A: Yes! To arrange a tour and/or to make a reservation, please contact our Wedding Coordinator HERE.
Q: Is the Chapel available to reserve for other special events, groups, etc.? A: Yes! In addition to weddings, we are happy to help host anniversaries, birthdays. music recitals, baptisms, bridal/baby showers, memorial services and/or as a meeting space for groups or organizations. Other building amenities include: bride and groom's dressing rooms, two large bridal party dressing rooms, three bathrooms, as well as a restored 1899 pipe organ & piano.
Q: Is alcohol permitted at the Chapel? A: Alcohol cannot be served or consumed unless provided by a licensed caterer.
Q: Is the Chapel wheelchair accessible? A: The Chapel has an ADA-approved concrete entrance ramp into the sanctuary. Once inside, a small ramp is available to access the main level of the Heritage Hall. The lower (basement) level is NOT wheelchair accessible.
